Thanks for stopping by, Jason! Times are busy and I can only be thankful, considering the horrible economy. You coming to the Heroes Convention in Charlotte, NC in a couple of weeks? We'll have a booth there for our graphic novel, 'Light Children.' Stop by and say, 'hello!'

Actually I think I may be. Brandon Reese (brandonreese.com) and I have thrown out the idea of riding together.

See you then!

Love the Liv Tyler movie piece with the solid blacks. A bit of a tribute to Mike Mignola...?

Thanks, Brian,
I love Mignola's stuff. He's the master of 'less is more' and the way he designs his work is really something. I wasn't thinking of Mignola when I did this piece, but I was thinking of using shape more than line. I'm trying to do that more, when I have the opportunity and I hope I can keep growing in that direction. This approach seems to appeal more to art directors at some of the bigger magazines, so that's important to me!

Thanks, Andrew - I'm glad you like what I'm doing! Been moving my studio all week so not much to post. Also, our book is on press this week (the LIGHT CHILDREN graphic novel) so that has sucked away most of my time.

I appreciate you stopping by,
Kyle
