I was asked by The New Yorker to draw Annaleigh Ashford in her role as the title character (a dog!) for the revival of the play, Sylvia.

This series of spots marks my two year anniversary of working with this client - I enjoy these assignments very much and it is nice to have a business relationship with a magazine in my hometown.
I had the good fortune to be invited to teach a two-week digital illustration course in Berlin at BTK in August. Thank you to Rafael Alvarez for the invitation!
I met over 30 students from many countries, including Egypt, England, Holland, Taiwan, Italy, and Spain, and I was impressed with their enthusiasm and their ideas.
I'm going to give this new layout a try for my site and see how it feels. Let me know what you think. Meanwhile, here is a spot illustration I completed earlier today for a story about a Coast Guard rescue.
