For the past several years, I have had the pleasure of visiting different universities and colleges and sharing what I have learned with students who are studying illustration and design. This experience is always mutually beneficial; the students peer into the working life of a freelance designer and illustrator and I come away with renewed energy and enthusiasm for this wonderful profession.

If you would like to have me visit your school, please write me an email with the subject line, 'School Visit,' addressed to kyle (at) kyletwebster (dot) com. Or you can call me at 336.253.4612. Below, you will find a few testimonials from professors I have had the pleasure of meeting over the years, who allowed me to spend some quality time with their classes.

Testimonials
I was delighted when Kyle agreed to talk to my class! His talk was very clear and informative; the students had many questions, and Kyle was honest, concise, and positive with his answers. I very much enjoyed his talk, and my students did as well!
~ Julie A. Collins, Professor of Sequential Art, Savannah College of Art and Design

Kyle’s thoughtful and informative lectures manifest how students can use their mania for drawing to make a living as freelance illustrators and designers. Perhaps more compelling than his inspirational lectures, Kyle’s slide shows about his own work bear witness to the power and relevance of drawing in contemporary visual communication.
~ Michael F. Ananian, Professor of Painting, University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Having Kyle come to our visual art department made a great impact on both our students and our faculty. His energy and passion for his work is contagious and our students began to make the connection that their foundational studies can inform so much of what they do in their career. Kyle is welcome here anytime!
~ Scott Raynor, Chair, Visual Arts Department, High Point University

In addition to his skills as an illustrator, Kyle is an informative and engaging speaker. His technique demos and talks with students at East Carolina University have been great.
~ Gunnar Swanson, Designer, Writer, “Speak Up" Author, Professor of Graphic Design
